Our goal is to facilitate open dialogues about girlhood in today’s digital landscape, foster genuine peer connections, and empower girls to prioritize their well-being.

Movemeant Foundation is dedicated to unlocking girls' self-esteem & confidence to empowering girls. Explore our approach to positive mind-body connection.

“After Girl FWD, I noticed lots of changes in how I respond to challenges and difficult situations, as well as a decrease in negative thoughts, indecisiveness, and second-guessing.

I feel better about myself and learned to validate my feelings without bringing myself down or putting myself in a state of despair.

I've developed my confidence, patience and resilience which has been very empowering to me. At the end of the course, I felt like a better version of myself and feel myself getting better every day.”

— Khadija M., 14 years old, Murrieta, CA

Special Collaboration with Passion Planner

We are thrilled to partner with Passion Planner for the Winter Girl FWD Cohort! Each participant will receive a complimentary Passion Planner and access to two exclusive virtual sessions:

  1. Setting Goals for Holistic Success: Discover how to enhance key areas of your life—academics, relationships, and personal well-being—and create actionable goals.

  2. Reflecting on Progress: Evaluate & Adjust: At the program's midpoint, we'll revisit our goals to ensure they still resonate and make any necessary adjustments.

Statistics reveal that girls are spending more time online and less time connecting with peers, resulting in feelings of isolation and loneliness.

Given the permanence of the digital age, it's essential to educate and empower girls on how to maintain healthy habits, relationships, and mental well-being while navigating increased screen time.

While real-life connections remain invaluable, there is a growing need for digital spaces that foster community, safety, connection, growth, and learning, particularly given the prevalence of online activity among girls.

This is where Girl FWD steps in.

Meet Aras - a participant in both the Fall 2023 and Fall 2024 cohorts, who is redefining confidence and resilience.

Girl FWD is a fun and supportive digital environment for girls to explore, learn, and grow.

Girl FWD is not like therapy or counseling; instead, it offers opportunities for self-discovery, skill development, friendship-building, and personal achievement.

Our primary focus at Girl FWD is to provide a safe digital space where girls can bring their authentic selves, find belonging, receive validation, and realize they are not alone in their experiences.

3. Breathing Exercise: We start with a calming breathing exercise to help your daughter connect with her body, feel grounded, and prepare for the activities ahead.

4. Review: Movemeant coaches recap what the girls have learned in previous sessions, ensuring everyone understands and can build on their progress.

5. Lesson Overview: Each session introduces a relevant topic, relating it to real-life situations your daughter may encounter. This encourages dialogue among the girls, fostering camaraderie and a sense of belonging.
