Meredith Essalat is currently the Principal of Mission Dolores Academy in San Francisco, California— a Movemeant Foundation partner school. Before arriving to MDA, Meredith taught Middle School Language Arts for nine years and worked in academic fundraising and development before that.  She is passionate about empowering her students to be individuals of character, integrity, and emboldened self-esteem and celebrates the Movemeant Foundation’s work in the lives of countless strong women. When she is not at school, you can find Meredith at SoulCycle, Blue Bottle coffee, or planning her next trip to NYC.
